Embellishments

WANT YOUR PRINT TO STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD?

Add some glamour to your product by embellishing
using one or more of the following options.

Embossing

Embossing is when the image or heading on paper or card is raised so it stands out in relief. Debossing recesses the image. Blind embossing is where the image is raised but not coloured.

Foiling

The application of metallic foil, usually gold or silver, to paper or card. By itself or on a coloured background, foiling is very effective and adds prestige. Can be combined with embossing.

Metallic Inks

Metallic inks give a metallic gleam that is just not possible using regular inks. These inks contain actual metal particles which reflect light. They reproduce best on a coated stock.

Varnishing

Gloss varnishing enhances the appearance of printed photographs as the coating reflects back the light and makes colours appear richer and more vivid. A matt varnish softens the appearance and reduces glare.

Spot UV Coating

This process uses ultra violet to achieve a striking coating on images such as photos or logos. They appear noticeably richer, more luxurious and draw attention.

Diecutting

Diecutting can be taken so much further than presentation folders or door hangers. Have shapes die-cut around or into your printwork for emphasis or to craft a product such as a gift box.

Laminating

Gloss or matt laminate your product on one or both sides for protection, durability, strength or simply to look good. Printwork can be laminated up to 1350mm wide and as long as you like.
