Expanding on his first book, The Golden Age of Radio in the Home, John Stokes’ books have proved to be very popular publications. The enthusiastic reception of his previous book has enabled material unavoidably left out to be put in this new book, More Golden Age of Radio, and to enable the inclusion of much new material not previously available.
This companion volume does not duplicate material from the previous book.
The book is divided into six sections to cover receivers made in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada and Great Britain. With over 1,400 illustrations, this book should appeal to old radio enthusiasts, and all people with an interest in early technology, mainly from the 1920s to 1960s.
